What To Expect From Your Fitted Golf Equipment

Date:  July 12th, 2008    Time: 1:15pm - 2:00pm, and 4:00pm - 4:45pm

            July 13th, 2008    Time: 11:00am - 11:45am, and 4:00pm - 4:45pm

Location: Cantigny Golf Academy

Every golfer reaches a point where his skill begins to ask more of his equipment no matter his or her handicap.  Even the finest brand golf club needs customization before it truly reflects the player who’s swinging it.  With the use of numerous techniques throughout the years, EJL Custom Golf has come up with a method that combines all the necessary ingredients to get a Tour quality fit without guessing or computer generated answers, we call it Max Out Golf!

Max Out Golf starts with the use of our shaft inventory and club inventory of all the major OEM manufactures.  These shafts and clubs have been outfitted so that each shaft can be connected in seconds to each head.  This allows use with an infinite number of different combinations for a golfer to choose from in minutes.  This technology allows the golfer to hit the exact club and shaft that would be custom built for him or her.  The golfer can truly see and feel the difference between his or her previous club and the new club that would be built. With the use of our Launch Monitor (which measures ball speed, launch angle, spin rates, distance, attack angle) the golfer is able to take one of those combinations and see how it performs for him/her.

Max Out also incorporates load cell technology with its fitting. Load is a better determinate of what force is being put on the shaft during the swing and allows us to better fit a golfer for shaft flex and torque. The end product of a Max Out fitting is the assurance of a perfect fit seen by a golfers own eyes.  Sing-up and learn more about EJL’s fittings and services.

How to Practice Correctly

Date: July 12th,  2008    Time: Noon - 1:00pm

           July 13th,  2008    Time: Noon - 1:00pm

Location: Cantigny Golf Academy

Practice within the Cantigny Golf Academy

For the first time in the history of golf you have the ability to practice correctly. Gone are the wasted and counterproductive hours of beating balls on a driving range. Our practice studios and our patented Hot Lines provide you with the ability to practice your swing mechanics even when your golf professional is not watching. Hot Lines are guaranteed to speed up the learning process.

How it works:

The process begins with the student and the instructor working together to isolate any element of the golf swing. The Hot Lines and/or reference lines are placed in a position on the computer monitor to accurately provide enough sensory or visual feedback to satisfy any golfer. If the club or body makes contact with a Hot Line, it causes the ball to disappear (negative feedback) or a light to flash (positive feedback). As many as four separate Hot Lines may be used at one time. Every aspect of the golf swing, from creating a desired setup to the proper swing motions of the golf club, can be improved.

The Benefits:

Practice time may be included in lesson packages or can be purchased by itself after an initial Golf Academy lesson. Upon a student’s return for practice, all the previous information is available on the computer screen. Reference lines and Hot Lines will remain intact to reinforce particular motions or golf club positions.

Many junior golfers have Tour quality swings, but few junior golfers have Tour quality minds. In fact, the single largest factor holding most junior players from playing to their potential is understanding, and mastering, the mental side of the game. The best time to learn to think like a champion is at a young age before poor mental habits have time to take root.
